Description

Van Essential's crew window cover is compatible with all Mercedes-Benz vans built from 2007 to the current model. Whether you're stealth camping or prefer an unobstructed view of your surroundings, we've got you covered. Our Crew Window cover is easily configurable to your privacy preference: full coverage, half up, or full visibility. The Crew window is located in the first row, across from the sliding door, just behind the driver. These covers are not only great for privacy but also provide insulation for your windows, keeping your van comfortable in any season! There are four types of window configurations, so read on to find out which one is right for you!

For Adventure Wagon kits or vans with framing covering the window pocket, we offer a smaller crew window cover. This attaches to the small bare metal flat section around the glass and should accommodate all aftermarket windows installed in that section. For best results with ADV Kits, tuck the cover in about 1/4 inch for a secure, light-blocking seal. Alternatively, you can purchase the larger cover and install magnets (sold separately) behind the wall panel, allowing the magnets to grab through. This cover works best with factory glass, AMA, or VWD windows. If you have CRL windows, our direct-fit window cover is the better choice.

Passenger Vans: With factory plastic trim or an emergency window in place, our magnets should grab through the plastic trim. For our regular crew window cover (MERC007, VE3017), we’ve stitched Velcro along the top of each cover for additional adhesion. VHB Velcro is included with each window cover for enhanced stability. Ensure the plastic is clean before applying the VHB to the top of the window frame.

FW621L CRL Framed-in Windows: If your build has a framed-in window up to the clamp ring on your CRL window, this smaller cover fits the exact shape of the window frame clamp ring and includes a metal tab kit to allow the magnets to grab onto the ring.

Storyteller Vans: This new addition is highly requested for an upgraded cover in this location. Our cover folds up in place, can open from one side to the other, and is available in both colors.
